HCE STIRS IT UP!

Earlier this month HCE celebrated moving in to their new premises with a Grand Opening conducted by Shane Warne, the Hampshire & Australian cricketing legend.
Other highlights of the evening included cooking demonstrations of the Convotherm Combi Ovens and a preview of the new HCE on-line catalogue which will have full e-commerce functionality in the next couple of weeks.
The evening was well attended by Hoteliers, Restaurateurs, Local Authority Foodservice Operators, Architects, Consultants and Building Contractors. However, not all went to plan. “Shane was unavoidably delayed up in London and was unsure whether he would make it or not” explained Jon Greep, General Manager “but not wishing to let our visitors down we managed to arrange for Shaun Udall & Robin Smith, both former Hampshire Captains, to step in to the breach.” As it turned out HCE in fact had two opening ceremonies when Shane finally arrived an hour later making for a great night.
