Pax Hill Residential & Nursing Care Home for the Elderly
Lord Baden-Powell, founder of the Boy Scout movement, was the
owner of Pax Hill from 1918 to 1938. He renamed the property Pax
(peace) Hill when he purchased the property. It has been in the
possession of the current owners as a residential and nursing home
since 1988.
During 2009/2010 a brand new care home has been built in the
nine acres of gardens and HCE were entrusted with the complete
catering facilities, to include all the catering equipment, walk-in
cold/freezer rooms, ventilation and supply and installation of the
PVC wall and ceiling systems and slip resistant,
easy-clean decorative flooring.
