Chinese telecoms company HUAWEI Technologies Ltd has completed construction of its new UK Headquarters in Reading, Berkshire which is the first step in a £1.3bn investment and procurement programme in the UK. HCE were appointed to supply and install complete new staff dining facilities, catering for 1500 staff.
The kitchen cooking areas feature two centre island suites which incorporate both conventional UK style cooking appliances alongside specialist Asian equipment including Rice Cookers, Double Deck Vertical Open Cabinet Steamer, Dim Sum & Rice Roll Steamer and Heavy Duty ‘Turbo’ Wok Cooker.
Serveries are designed in a very attractive ‘Free-Flow’ style system and feature granite tops and the very latest UV bonded square edged profile glass gantries. The wash-up incorporates a 33 tray clearance carousel with motorised roller tabling and conveyor rack dishwasher, capable of wash/rinsing up to 170 racks per hour.
