Since its opening by Queen Victoria in 1871, The Royal Albert Hall situated on the northern edge of South Kensington, London has held many of the world’s leading artists from many performance genres on its stage. It has become one of the UK’s most treasured and distinctive buildings with a capacity of up to 5,272 seats, hosting over 390 shows in its main auditorium each year

In January 2014 the Cafe Consort on the Grand Tier was closed permanently in preparation for a new restaurant at a cost of £1 million. The refurbishment, the first in around 10 years, features a themed kitchen serving stone baked pizzas, pasta and classic desserts

HCE were thrilled to be chosen to carry out works in what is now named the “Verdi Kitchen”
